Missing my mom today. Her favorite color was blue and this little flower- forget me not blooming ahead of some of her peonies in my garden are a comfort and reminder of her love and all the ways she impacted my life. Mom you can never be forgotten!

My plan this week was to post lots of Mom photos. Here is one of my favorites from this year. Hug your moms close this week. I am missing mine but have so many incredible memories of her being very present at big moments in my life. This mom was the organizer and planner of her daughter’s fall wedding. Mother of the groom! You got this and your son taking a wife is so special! As we celebrate Mother’s Day this week- Mother’s of the Groom I see you- I am right there with you! My son is getting married and I have all the emotions. I loved him first but I am so grateful and humble that an incredible and wonderful woman loves him too and will come alongside him for the rest of his life! Happy May Day! I so wish the celebration of May Day had caught on in America. Children dressed up in sweet dresses carrying flower baskets and the dancing with colorful ribbons wrapping a pole is so magical. Then the crowing of the Queen and more celebration.
