Sometimes as a floral designer you get to make a centerpiece for your own dining room table for that special occasion! This weekend our son @david.edwards13 and his fiancé @livschichtel and parents had time together. When two join in marriage, two families get to join in supporting and surrounding the newlyweds! We are excited and thrilled our family is growing.

It is a reminder that love means sacrificing and serving another and committing and choosing daily to die to selfishness. It also reminds the couple that they are not alone in the journey! Poking around in the wholesaler’s cooler I found the perfect rose for this rusty, dusty rose color palette! Wabara senlitsu rose- the perfect color and shape plus American grown!!! I love what I do as a floral designer and stylist of events/weddings. As a creative, I do not repeat recipes or copy others designs but work to bring originality and uniqueness to the floral pieces coming out of my studio! As a stylist I help guide decisions to fit the aesthetic that matches the clients vision, select linens, hard goods and design tablescapes that create ambience and are cohesive and beautiful! Excited to be getting back to work- full season ahead!

Love when a bridal bouquet gets to have a seat! Also when they feature some of my own dahlias, zinnias, easy spirit rose, locally grown celosia and some toffee roses ...well it just sits right! We are being told that there could be issues with the flower supply chain this spring. Growers snd shipping are facing new issues. So we are planning ahead and trying to have a good flexible strategy. I am so grateful for all the local flower farms in my area! Again, locally grown, locally owned just makes sense. Let’s all support small business in #828 thru these next challenges. We are all better together!
